Black Screen, any Illusion Games, fresh installs

Greetings HF Community :)

Yes, I did search this topic, and I did come back with results; however, none of them were remotely useful. Most threads were several years old, and did not contain an actual fix for the issue at hand, which is...

When I start any Illusion game (RGF, AG3, SM2, etc.) I hear the audio, but have no video. I can move the mouse (although I can't see it) and hear the 'ding' sounds as I hover over icons on the screen.

Previously, I had all these games installed and working (so I know they'll work with my hardware...) but I lost them after a re-format, and I'm now encountering this issue as I try to get everything going again.

System information:
I have set my Region to Japan prior to install.
CPU- AMD Phenom II Black Edition OC'd @ 2.8Ghz
RAM- 4GB
GPU- Nvidia GeForce 460 SSC

The only component I've changed is my display setup:
Monitor 1: Dell 24" IPS LCD (did not own this at the time I last played)
Monitor 2: Acer 23" LCD (previous monitor on which the games played)

All that being said, I am ready and willing to uninstall, reinstall, download, patch, hack, and duct tape to get this working again. Any advice or assistance is greatly appreciated.
