The story centers around Sōji Mitsuka, an ordinary high school boy who happens to have an obsession for twin-tail hair. One day, a mysterious beautiful girl named Thouars (Tuaaru) appears before him from a parallel world. At the same time, monsters appear in his town, and they declare that all twin-tails in the world belong to them.

so... we have a male protagonist's fateful encounter with a character from another world and obtaining the means to save his world, but instead of a overpowered ability/weapon/mecha he turns into a mahou shoujo? I guess this will do.
