Didn't see a thread for this, so here's one.
Battle anime based off of a popular collectable card game. In the first episode, we discover that gates open all over the world and creatures from other dimensions, defined by colors, come through in massive waves and randomly start destroying everything in sight. Three years later, people have invented cards that allow people to enslave these creatures and join in the fighting. Pretty much, this is all the explanation we get to start with, so it comes across as rather mindless. It might develop a story, and production values are decent, but it feels like it's mostly intended for fans of the game and isn't trying very hard to reach anybody else.
