Hi guys, how are you?
Today I switched sub-forums because I thought it was more suitable to post here. Seems like it's the correct option.
I bought my custom computer almost 2 years ago and I had it assembled on the store (because I don't know hot to do that yet), and after 2 years of immersing myself into the PC Scene I learned a lot of things, one of which is the reason to post here: Ventilation and cable arrangement, enhancing the airflow inside the case. My computer had cables everywhere and I never cared until now. That's when I decided to throw away any fears I had, grabbed a Screwdriver and started opening the case, unpluging cables and labeling to avoid confusion. Everything went just fine until the moment of closing the case: it wouldn't close due to an acumulation of cables on the left side of the case. So I had to sacrifice the -in my opinion- nice arrangement I did, to make sure I could close the case.
Now to the pictures:
1) this is how I used to have my case from the inside. It's pre-cleaning, so please don't throw up! [Graphic Cards Unplugged]

2) this is how it ended up after cable arrangement a cleaning of dust (where a live there's a lot of trucks and dust is constantly forming a layer) [This time, graphic cards are connected]

Now, the thing is that I noticed the PSU has a lot of redundant cables coming out and I don't know if I can/must/should detach them in order to make it more easy to maneuver.
As you see, right after they come out of the PSU, on my first try every cable went to the back and only the necessary cables came back to the inside of the case trought an opening. Not being able to close the case (due to so many redundant cables being occuping space), I had to make this non-used cables remain inside the case's main cavity and go right under the Hard Disks to "seem hidden". It doesn't. It's horrible.
Is there a way to take off these cables I won't use and store them somewhere, so I can freely maneuver the cables again and obtain better results?
Also I have to figure out how to make the Fans' Cables to be either hidden or well placed, at least so they don't look like in the picture, hanging.
And now, regarding the air current, I'll show you my case:
It has one fan on the front, the big one on the side, both intakes, one on the back on one on top, both exhausts.
I hope I made myself clear and didn't bore you with the details, but I like to be as informative as I can in order to help and receive help.
Thanks and I'll wait for your answer!
P.S.: maybe you didn't happen to see one of my previous posts, but you can consider the second graphic card gone, since I plan on keeping just one card inside the case.
