Hi everyone!
I was wondering if someone can tell me which Rance (Alicesoft) game to start from? I saw a screenshot of the gameplay.. which I believe is Sengoku Rance.. and it looks really entertaining. When I did more research on Sengoku Rance, it turned out to the be the 7th game in the series.
I was thinking about starting from the very first one (If possible) but umm.. when I saw screenshots of the very first game, I just wasn't into it. Although, if the games are intertwined in a way that they expect the player to be surprised or aware of certain plots (For example: They introduce a character, build it up, and you as the player should be like, "oh man, I remember that character! It's super strong and I should be amazed!), then I'm willing to read through all the guff.
My question for you guys is that, if I start from Sengoku Rance, how much of the plot will I miss? How much does references to the past games get involved that I SHOULD be aware of?
