I don't know what's wrong, but whenever I try install Premium Play Darkness or Wakeari, by exploring the mounted disc image, and running the autorun/setup.exe with japanese locale as admin or not, the installer-bar fills incredibly fast, doesn't let me choose where to install the game, and then shuts down. When I try to install the Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0, it says that it couldn't reach the Microsoft Installer, either because it's in fail-safe mode, or that it has been incorrectly installed. And If I try to install Kamidori Alchemy Meister, the installer-bar fills up to about 40% before giving me this message: ''Windows Installer service could not be accessed. Contact your support personnel to verify that it is properly registered and enabled''. It has worked damn near spendidly before, so I don't know why it would fail now. I've been thinking of asking my friend about it, but I though I might as well ask on a forum, you know?
So I'm wondering if someone, anyone, knows what's wrong, and if I can fix it. Being the amateur that I am, my tries at fixing it has(or have?) failed.
