Recently I feel like game companies really like to mess things up. I know it is not their intention, but there are things that any gamer can easily see miles away, but somehow, those big heads in charge can't.
Let me give you some examples: Square Enix keeps delaying FF 13 versus, they never want to remake awesome titles like FF7, 8,9, and Chrono Cross. Instead, they give us 3 Ff13. I don't say FF13 is bad, but freaking 3???? How hard is it to remake a game into HD version? I have seen people make a portion of FF7 in their WEEKENDS. The main problem is that those Jap companies really like to build things from scratch. White Engine is quite good, but if they need a fast solution, how about just use premade engine? I really don't mind playing FF7 remake HD with CryEngine or Unreal Engine. Now that would be totally awesome. Imagine the amount of money they can make from FF fan base.
And that applies for Resident Evil, Xenosaga, Ace combat, The legend of Dragoons, Chrono cross, etc.
Next is DMR. I can't believe those dick heads can't figure out the simple fact that their servers are gonna be crushed the first hour they release a new game. Can't EA learn from Diablo III? And yet they make the very same mistake with Simcity. Never in my life have I seen such a low rating score on Amazon (1.2 out of 5 stars), and I though Diablo 3 is bad enough (2.2 out of 5 stars). Don't they realize that DMR is hurting both their business and the customers? Meanwhile, piracy laugh in their faces. They are killing PC games. Do consoles player have the same problem? Hell no. I play BF3 on PC every day and 90% of the time, the game can't connect at first try, sometimes it takes until 3rd or 4th to join a match. I never have the same problem playing online on PS3. Just pop the disk in and join a match, how easy is that? Those companies are making things harder for apparently no reason.
